Club Car Onward batteries come in both 48-Volt and 72-Volt applications from the manufacturer. Traditionally, standard Club Car Batteries have been Lead-Acid and come from Trojan Batteries as OEM equipment for Onward / Tempo carts. But since 2021, Lithium golf cart batteries have become increasingly popular with Club Car owners looking to replace their dead batteries. Club Car even began offering Lithium batteries from the factory on their Tempo, Onward and CRU carts since 2022.
