What is a Golf Cart Lift Kit?

Golf Cart Lift Kits are an engineered set of parts you install on your golf cart that boosts the cart's height up, giving you an additional 3” to 8” of height and ground clearance. This added clearance is ideal for fitting taller tires on your cart to allow it to drive over rough terrain, bumpy hunting trails, or just to make your cart look tough and amazing! A golf cart lift kit also provides a wider and more stable riding stance for your golf cart, and gives your cart the ability to fit negative offset golf cart wheels and larger (taller) tires inside your wheel wells.

Lift kits are most often combined with a LIFTED golf cart wheel and tire combo to complete a full custom setup on our customers' carts!

Lift Kit Types

1. Drop Spindle Golf Cart Lift Kits

Probably the most popular of all lift kit types: easy to install, affordable, and utilizes your cart’s standard suspension. Spindle Lift Kits/ “Drop Spindle” Lift Kits replace and increase your cart’s spindle length and size, giving your cart a wider stance and increased stability - allowing you to fit larger “offset wheels” on your golf cart along with wider and taller tires as well!

2. A-Arm Golf Cart Lift Kits

A-Arm Golf Cart lift kits are beefier than Drop Spindle kits and almost entirely replace the front end of your golf cart for a smoother and more comfortable lifted ride. These lift kits also give you the ability to fit larger tires and wheels than you could on a stock (manufacturer) setup. The most popular golf cart lift kits we sell are Heavy-Duty A-Arm.

3. Drop Axle Golf Cart Lift Kits

Drop Axle lift kits are a great way to lift your golf cart on a budget! These lift kits replace your stock front axle with a “drop-axle” design, extending the front end of the cart's height while reusing the factory spindles on your golf cart (which is why you will save money when choosing this lift kit option). The drop axle lift kit also and lengthens your axle height, giving you added clearance to fit bigger golf cart tires and wheels.

4. Block Lift Kits

Block lift kits are perfect for building a lifted golf cart on a budget! These economy style lift kits are easy to install and give your cart the instant boost in height you're looking for. Typically offered in 4 inch height sizes, Block Lift Kits add simple steel blocks under your factory suspension to give your cart a boost in height.

5. Long Travel Lift Kits

Luxurious and extra capable: long travel lift kits are the most expensive lift kits you can buy for your golf cart. These kits are used in the most extreme off-road situations for your golf cart, and act similarly to how a UTV (side-by-side) suspension works providing lots of suspension travel and a ultra smooth ride. Long travel kits are made so capable due to their independent front and rear suspension systems (with long bouncy springs).
