An EZGO DCS (Drive Controller System) is the factory controller type that was featured any EZGO Medalist or EZGO TXT manufactured between the years 1994.5 to 2000. The DCS controller was EZGO's first generation Shunt Wound Motor system.
How to Identify if my EZGO Has a DCS Controller?
If your EZGO has a Forward / Reverse lever underneath your driver's seat, then you have a DCS controller on your cart. EZ-GO Golf Carts after the year 2000 got a new controller (called PDS), which moved the F/R switch up to the dash.
